Tottenham to host the 2021 Heineken Champions Cup finals weekend

The new White Hart Lane will host rugby’s premier European competitions in 2021.
Both the Heineken Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup will take place in the new 62,062 state-of-the-art stadium.
The deal will see thousands of rugby fans from across Europe descend on N17 in a deal that is expected to plough millions into the north London economy.
Last year's finals in Bilbao saw around £49m raked in for the Basque region and this year's event, currently taking place in Newcastle is expected to top that.

European Professional Club Rugby chairman Simon Halliday said: "We are very excited to be taking the best club rugby in the world to such an innovative and exciting stadium.
"There is already a real buzz about the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and it will continue the theme of new experiences for our fans in dynamic stadiums that can generate the kind of exceptional atmosphere that has become the hallmark of the Heineken Champions Cup."

The finals weekend is an attractive proposition for fans the world over and the team at the Tottenham Hotspur have shown their commitment to continually raising the bar for the Heineken Champions Cup final experience."
Tottenham's chairman Daniel Levy added: ""We are excited to have been selected to host this prestigious weekend, the pinnacle of European club rugby, and to have this opportunity to welcome EPCR and rugby fans from around the world to Tottenham to experience our new home.
"These games will add to the portfolio of world-class sporting and entertainment events our multi-use venue will stage in this new leisure destination for London."
