The OA Saints celebrated success at the Hertfordshire Sports Partnership Service to Sport Awards at the University of Hertfordshire last week. In a packed auditorium with over 500 attendees including a host of dignitaries and VIP s from all over Hertford

The OA Saints celebrated success at the Hertfordshire Sports Partnership Service to Sport Awards at the University of Hertfordshire last week.

In a packed auditorium with over 500 attendees including a host of dignitaries and VIP's from all over Hertfordshire, OA Saints Women's Rugby Club beat off the competition of 14 other nominees to win the Community Club of the Year gong one of two main awards at the event. Furthermore, in the Male Coach category, Ed Knighton came third out of 12 nominations in recognition of his work with the Saints to cap off a wonderful evening for the club.

OA Saints run two senior women's teams and an U12-U18 junior section at Woollams Playing Fields on Harpenden Road.

n The annual Georgie Robinson memorial match is being held this Saturday, with the OA Saints taking on a Combined Services side on Saturday.

The game, which takes place at 5pm after the OA Men's match on Saturday, is in memory of Saints player Georgie Robinson who was who was killed three years ago in a car crash while on holiday in South Africa.

The Saints will be raising money for The Rainbow Trust in her memory.
