Former Harpenden Rugby Club junior Maro Itoje returns for Saracens at Lyon in the Heineken Champions Cup after injury put him out for two months.

The second row, who also went to St George’s School in the town, picked up a knee injury on England duty in November that has caused him to miss five matches in total.

They included Sarries’ European double header with Cardiff Blues.

International and club teammate Jamie George is reinstated at hooker after being rested in the defeat to Sale Sharks last week and Jackson Wray is the third and final change in the pack, coming into the back row at six.

That means no place in the starting line-up or on the bench for St Albans’ Nick Isiekwe.

Just one alteration in the backs sees Sean Maitland replace David Strettle on the wing.

Saracens have won all four of the pool matches in this year’s competition and sit top of Pool Three.

A home game against second-placed Glasgow Warriors rounds off stage one after the Men in Black’s trip to Lyon.
