George Perkins has retained his place in the England U20 starting line-up for Friday’s match against Scotland.

England have made three changes to the first XV for the clash at Darlington Mowden Park’s Northern Echo Arena, with fly-half Rory Jennings, loosehead Seb Adeniran-Olule and tighthead Paul Hill all coming into the side.

Old Albanian and Saracens winger Perkins starts in a back line completed by full-back Aaron Morris and winger Joe Marchant,

Head coach Jon Callard said: “It’s a game we’re hugely looking forward to. We want to build on the positives from the game against Ireland, but at the same time we know that there are still things we need to work on.

“Scotland come to us on the back of an excellent win against Italy and will be full of confidence. They are a strong side, they like to move the ball and play with some width. We’ll need to be on our game to ensure we get the right result.

“We’re delighted to be part of this double header and what a great chance for people in and around the area to come and watch two games of international rugby.”
