THE OA U14s A team ended their league season as undefeated champions of the Saracens Herts Middlesex First division after they overcame a tough challenge from Dunstablians.

OAs scored first through racing winger Joel McNeill, and at half time the score was tied at 7-7.

However as the second half progressed OAs became more dominant, running in three tries - a second for McNeill and two for George Elliott giving OAs a 28-7 win.

Coach Mark Elliott said: "To be League One champions for the second successive season is a remarkable achievement and is a tribute to the boys' mixture of skill, fitness and a never-say-die determination. I'm very proud of them."

The statistics are truly impressive, as the OA youngsters rattled up 187 points (30 tries) in winning all seven league matches, whilst conceding only 22 points (four tries).

Elsewhere, the U14s B team came from behind to defeat Tabard 19-10, and cement their position in the top half of Division Four.
