THE OA Saints squad has increased during the pre-season with some new talent emerging, in part due to the great coaching report given by Ed Knighton and Glynn Barraclough.

The club are aiming to win their first and second team leagues and all new players and supporters are keenly encouraged at Woollams.

The Saints are able to boast a few rising stars and international talent in the squad, including Sarah McKenna (England Under 20 honours) and Karina Page (England A honours).

The season kicks off with a friendly away to Premiership team Lichfield on Saturday, September 13, with the first league fixture promising to be a tough one, against Saracens II at home on Sunday, September 21.

The Saints Second team are contending their first league fixture against Beckenham on Sunday, September 14 and are also at home on the Sunday, September 21, against New Ash Green. Supporters are very welcome, both home and away.

The Junior Girls Squad is also growing with a newly-established Under 12s side alongside Under 15s and Under 18s squads.

To commemorate the sad passing of team mate Georgie Robinson, a memorial charity day was established last year with a moving balloon launch taking place on the first-team pitch before the Saints playing the British army team, raising £1,400 for the Rainbow trust.

The second annual Georgie Robinson Memorial Match against the Army will be held on Saturday, October 18 this year, where all support and donations will be very welcome.
