St Albans and Harpenden scrum down

Harpenden earned local bragging rights in their first meeting with St Albans after a 50-8 thumping at Boggymead.

Saturday’s derby was for a spot in the first of the Herts Presidents’ Tankard. The result means Harpenden will face Welwyn this weekend at Redbourn Lane.

The teams will meet twice in the London 2 NW season, which starts on September 13 - the fixtures have yet to be released.
