Sarries prepare for defence of their crown

AVIVA Premiership champions Saracens returned to training at their St Albans base this week ahead of the defence of their title.

The Sarries squad were put through their paces at Woollams, home of Old Albanians, by the club’s coaches in a gruelling day of fitness tests.

Saracens, who beat Leicester Tigers in last season’s Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham, will entertain Esher in a pre-season friendly at Old Albanians. The game will take place on Sunday, August 21, with kick off at 2.30pm.
