CHELMSFORD City's new boss Glenn Pennyfather will come head-to-head with Roy Keane when the Clarets host Ipswich Town in pre-season.

Pennyfather who has stepped up to take over from Jeff King, who is now the club's director of football, will get to test himself against the newly installed Ipswich manager on Wednesday, July 29.

Weymouth have been dealt a blow with the news that Andy Tilson is to join Exeter City as assistant manager.

Tilson only joined the Terras last month but the club have decided not to stand in his way and have allowed him to join the League One side. Weymouth manager Matty Hale expects to name his new assistant shortly.

Meanwhile Terras chairman Ian Ridley has held talks with potential investors as the club continues to fight for survival.

According to the Dorset Echo, Ridley has held meetings with the potential investors in London and was due to report his findings to the board today.
