JACK Roberts, Chris Wallace, Ryan Houghton and Jack Tidd scored but the Under 18s were beaten 6-4 by Everett Rovers. Reece Egerton made his 150th appearance in Road colours as they suffered the first defeat of the season.
The Under 10s suffered defeat in their opening match of the new season, going down 3-1 to AC Finchley. Craig Reece thoroughly deserved Man of the Match for his tireless running and close control. Charlie Stubbs scored their only goal.
