Herts Senior County League Division One Loughton 0 St Peter's 1 ANTHONY Farron struck the decisive goal as St Peter's continued their fine recent form with an away win at Loughton in the Herts Senior County League Division One on Saturday. Saints made it 14 points from their last six games although they didn't perform to their best at Loughton. Both sides were guilty of conceding possession on a pitch that looked reasonable enough and scoring chances were rare. Former St Albans City goalkeeper John Armand, on loan at St Peter's from Barnet, did not have much to do but showed his class with a fine double save. Saints capitalised on their goalkeeper's good work when they took the lead as a low cross found Anthony Farron to net at the far post. Farron then had an effort ruled out before the end but Saints closed out the match to maintain their strong mid-table position. On Saturday the club are without a league fixture, but travel to Bovingdon on February 11, with a 2.45pm kick off.
