STRIKER Hector Mackie has returned to St Albans City after a spell with Potters Bar Town.

Mackie signed for City in 2007 under former boss Ritchie Hanlon but left the club after making six league starts and five substitute appearances. Kwame Asamoah, who made his first team debut at Clarence Park as a substitute against Hampton & Richmond Borough in the final match of last season, has also signed forms with Saints.

Young defender Troy Oham-Strachan impressed City manager Steve Castle in the practice match on Tuesday and has signed forms along with young goalkeeper Austin Byfield who came off the bench and put in an impressive display on Tuesday. Byfield is expected to be cover for Paul Bastock on Saturday if manager Steve Castle requires two goalkeepers in his squad for the Bognor Regis Town clash.
