ST Albans Centurions player coach Shane Rampling feels his side is hitting form in the Rugby League Conference Southern Premier Division.

England Lionheart Oli Fountain scored four tries as Cents powered to victory at Colney Heath against Ipswich Rhinos on Saturday. Rampling was also among the try scorers along with Richard Smith, Jacques Steynberg and Dan Hensby.

The coach hailed his side for the fine 40-22 win and feels they will build on this impressive result. Rampling said: "That was a great win. It has taken four or five weeks but the wins will start to come now. Finally our young boys quickened a gear. Things started to come together in the second-half last week and in the first 40 minutes today. We need patience and to stick to a simple game plan and we'll move up the table. There were 24 points from Oli Fountain and the youngsters are growing in stature each week. Joe Vassie and Jonno Elvin were outstanding today."

On Saturday, July 5, St Albans Centurions are at home to the unbeaten West London Sharks. Kick off at the Recreation Ground, Colney Heath, is at 2.30pm.
