Radlett 2s made it two from two in Saracens Herts Division 2A with a four wicket win over Ickleford.
Bowling first, Radlett struggled early as Ickleford raced to 46-1 from eight overs.
Captain Dan Foster and the returning Stuart Browne two wickets each to stemmed the flow of runs considerably. This allowed Troy Barrett to pick up four wickets scalps on his way to figures of 4-34 from his 10 overs. The control provided by Simeon Cohen was crucial in restricting Ickleford to 150 on a good batting surface.
Radlett’s opening pair for Graham Dill and Yasir Mughal put on 52 before both lost their wickets in the same over.
The hosts had a three-wicket wobble, but Jonny Armitage blasted a 20-ball 41 and Hugh McDowell finished unbeaten on 42 to see the 2s home with 23 overs to spare.
