RUGBY UNION: TWO pupils from Sir John Lawes School in Harpenden addressed their fellow students about the benefits of playing Rugby as part of Hertfordshire's Rugby Awareness Week.
Oren Blindell and Rachel McCullough, both 15, presented the benefits of the sport to their fellow pupils during a special assembly at the school on Monday.
The whole idea was the pairs' brainchild and saw youngsters across the county presenting assemblies to their fellow pupils in an attempt to raise the profile of the game.
Feedback has been positive with schools reporting that a lot of people had enquired about taking up the sport and asking for it to be coached at their school.
