AN unfit pitch put pay to Saints' Division One fixture at Harpenden Rovers on Saturday.
Rain during the previous week plus frost on Friday evening, made Saturday's 11.30 inspection a mere formality.
The postponement adds to the Saints' fixture problems as they still have no fewer than 11 dates to fill, six at home and five away, with only nine official Saturday dates available.
Clubs in the league have already been warned that Easter mid-week games are on the cards with Easter Monday also been considered following numerous postponements during the past couple of months.
A rare home fixture awaits the Saints this coming weekend when Whitwell AFC visit Lemsford (KO 2.30pm).
