Jason Beazley, from Markyate, has finished third in the PokerStars UKIPT in Edinburgh, netting himself a cool £43,420.
Having qualified for the main event, Beazley was chip-leader heading into the final table - the last eight. But, having seen off five other players he was finally bested by Liv Boeree’s three aces to his two pairs.
His exit from his second UKIPT tour event leaves Boeree and Dean Hutchinson to face off for the main prize, £93,900.
