HERTFORDSHIRE booked themselves a place in the MCCA KO Trophy Final at Lord’s with a stunning victory over Cambridgeshire at Harpenden Common on Saturday.

Harpenden all rounder Ben Frazer was the star of the show hitting an unbeaten 127 from just 88-balls while his Harpenden team mates Nick Lamb and Simon White starred with the ball.

It was a case of third time lucky for Herts, who’d lost out at the semi final stage in 2003 and 2010 and they will now travel to the Home of Cricket on Thursday, August 25, to take on a Berkshire side featuring former Hampshire and Middlesex star Shaun Udal.
