The Peck family made Harpenden Rugby Club history on Saturday as five members of the family ran out for the 3rds.
Dad John was joined by his sons Matt, Will, Teddy and Joe for the friendly against Luton 3rds. Aged between 21 and 56, they played for the whole 80 minutes despite being obliged beforehand by colleague Chris Walls to each drink a glass of sherry in one go.
The result? Even after a sherry, Matt Peck powered over for a try, getting one over on brother Will who was held up after trying to emulate him. It wasn’t enough for victory, though, as Luton ran out 40-17 winners.
