MEMBERS of Verulam competed in their first ever Open swimming event as the club went to Stevenage last weekend. Verulam took a squad of 34 for the two-day competition and the swimmers set 74 new personal best times. Vicky Healey won two gold medals
MEMBERS of Verulam competed in their first ever Open swimming event as the club went to Stevenage last weekend.
Verulam took a squad of 34 for the two-day competition and the swimmers set 74 new personal best times. Vicky Healey won two gold medals and two silver medals while Charlotte Filmore set five personal bests and recorded five placings. James Devine also picked up five placings and young members Harry Parker, Stanley Tinkler and Emily Muggleton were inspired.
