OLD Verulamians RFC are asking their local community to support their bid by voting online for the club for an exclusive end of season rugby gala at their rugby club in April 2013.
Forty rugby teams all over the country will compete for votes to win the ultimate sporting prize as part of the grassroots campaign launched by AEG.
The event will be hosted by England Rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey and will include expert coaching and team games with some extra special guests.
The gala will go into the evening with a three-course meal for 50 guests, a question and answer session with their sporting heroes and a charity auction with special prizes to be donated by AEG.
Old Verulamians RFC has already won AEG’s Kit and Laundry package as one of the 40 grassroots finalists.
As part of the prize the rugby club have designed their brand new kit and have received their very own top of the range AEG washing machine for the start of the new season, in order to keep them looking pristine on the field.
Voting for Old Verulamians RFC has began, see the link above right, supporters of the club will have until Monday, December 10 to register their vote.
