In the last move of normal time, OAs scored under the posts to tie the match at 14-14.

Half way through the five minutes of sudden death extra time, OAs stormed over for a try to become champions.

The OA Under 13s A team scored 267 points in six games and conceding only 10. The youngsters capped an incredible season by overwhelming Tring 38-5 in the semis and Harpenden 24-0 in the final. The Under 13s B team defeated A teams from Hitchin and Welwyn before losing 10-0 to eventual finalists Harpenden.
