THE OAces Junior Boys Under 12s squad had their first match of the season against Berkhamsted on Saturday.
James Wilkinson, George MacGregor, Dan Burnley and Jordan Bartlam made up the OA team, sponsored by the OA Sports Foundation.
The first four singles rubbers saw some breathtaking tennis with Wilkinson narrowly beating the opposing top ranked player in a third set tie break and Burnley's convincing win making it 2-2.
The doubles were shared with one win each and the match went to a dramatic championship tie break shoot out. Wilkinson and MacGregor held their nerve and narrowly defeated the opposition 10-7 to secure the win for OAs.
