Oaklands Wolves Youth Football Club’s meteoric rise in their inaugural season as a team has culminated in three of their five teams reaching cup finals.
The FA Chartered Standard club allows Wolves to offer opportunities for girls and boys to access training and matches, under the established banner of Oaklands Wolves and in partnership with Oaklands College.
The U10 girls, who have remained unbeaten all season, made it to the Herts Girls League Cup Final, while the U12 and U14 boys’ sides will face Berkhamsted Raiders Red and Cheshunt Youth Ambers in their respective finals.
Proud chairman Daniel Coyle said: “We train twice a week with UEFA B Licensed coaches and the emphasis is on development and enjoyment so finals are a bonus.
“What the children have achieved and are capable of is exciting for everyone involved.”
