HERTS Stags lost to Kent Under 20s in their fourth-place play off for the Jason Leonard and London & SE Trophy on Sunday at Aldershot.
The backs for Herts were superb, with Old Albanian player Carling Colfer catching the eye of the Divisional selectors. The forwards also played well.
With the scores at 3-3, Colfer was put clear for a try that gave Herts the initiative.
Tom Jankowski notched a second score but Kent took the 14-13 win with a dramatic late penalty.
