Normality returned to the Saracens Herts Premier Division on Saturday as Welwyn Garden City and Radlett shrugged off their first losses of the season last weekend to beat Letchworth Garden City and Bishop’s Stortford respectively.
Leaders WGC (287-5) now have a 44-point cushion at the top of the table after a 107-run win over LGC (180). Radlett (137-6) jumped into second place after a four-wicket win over Bishop’s Stortford (136-9), who fell three places to fifth.
Harpenden (210-9) fell three runs shy of Stevenage’s (212-6) total in a draw, meaning they are 15 points behind Radlett and just six ahead of fourth-placed Hemel Hempstead (234), who beat Sawbridgeworth (130) by 104 runs.
After taking a top scalp in Radlett last weekend, Potters Bar (223-6) notched up their second win of the season, beating North Mymms (222-5) by four wickets.
