ATHLETICS: THE Year 8 athletics team from Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School won the Hertfordshire County League athletics final for the first time in the school’s history.
The team followed up on its success at the St Albans district championship and ended an unbeaten season with an impressive 92 points in the final. This was over 20 points ahead of their closest rivals Haberdashers Askes.
Six of the team set personal bests on the day and the result was testament to the hard work the whole team have put into training.
