See what’s been happening in the Vanarama National League South this week.

Margate have been promoted to the National League South after winning the Ryman League play-off final. The Kent-based side beat Hendon to earn promotion.

As reported in the Bicester Advertiser, Oxford City have been moved to National League South.

Hemel Hempstead goalkeeper Laurie Walker has announced his is leaving the club. As reported by the Gazette, Walker revealed the news on Twitter saying: “Thank you all again for getting behind me in my time at Hemel and I hope the future is bright for the club.”

Tom Bird has re-sign for Basingtsoke Town. “We were keen to get Tom signed because he had interest from other teams, with better offers than we could make. The fact that he has signed for us says a lot about his commitment to the club,” manager Jason Bristow told the Gazette.

Newly promoted Maidstone United have added Manny Parry from Grays Athletic. Stones boss Jay Saunders told the club’s website: “Manny’s a young lad with lots of potential. He’s not the finished article but has the pace and presence to go far in the game.”

Warren Cummings has re-signed with Havant and Waterlooville. The former Scotland international made 38 starts for the club last season, according to www.havantandwaterloovillefc.co.uk
