THE Herts Sports Partnership is staging the inaugural 45+ Games at the Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield.
The Games take place on Wednesday, June 18, and the event, aimed at showing how it is never too late to get involved in sport and physical activity, is open to all,
On offer as part of the free all-day programme will be sessions led by qualified instructors in a range of activities from Nordic Walking to Tag Rugby, Dance and Swimming. Herts Sports Partnership's Sports Development Manager John O'Callaghan said: "It really is never too late to get involved or get back involved in sport and physical activity programmes and I hope that as many 45+ers as possible will join us for the forthcoming Games, where the emphasis will be on a bit of a workout and a chance to meet new friends."
