Roundwood Park’s U19 boys’ trampolining team was crowned national champions in Birmingham last weekend.

William Coulter, Noah Hume and Nathan McGreevy came second, third and sixth respectively in the individual competition but their collective scores were enough to beat their closest rivals, Wilmslow, to the team award.

The U19 girls put in an impressive performance to take third place. Emily Kennedy was their top scorer, taking bronze, as the team finished just four points off the gold medal.

The U14 girls’ team consisted of Ellie, Lucy, Isabel and Faye and they finished fifth in a tough group. In the U14 boys’ individual competition, Jacob Keddy register two solid scores to place fourth overall.

Coach Pauline Moxham said: “This is an amazing achievement for these gymnasts who regularly push themselves to reach their potential. I am very proud of their success.”
