Seb Morris kept up his title charge in rounds five, six and seven of the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup (NEC) in Hockenhiem.

The St Albans-based racer was first and sixth fastest in the two free practice sessions and he maintained his speed into qualifying. The Fortec Motorsport driver was second fastest and Q1 and fourth in Q2.

A shunt in the first race saw Morris, a Caterham Academy racer, cross the finish line in 21st. However, he showed his true class in races two and three, converting 21st on the grid into a ninth and fifth-placed finishes.

The 28 points he earned sees him into sixth place in the championship heading into the fourth meeting of the season at Spa.
