Hitchin Town Arena 4 St Peter's 2
ST PETER's were bought back down to earth following last week's convincing win as they lost out to Hitchin Town Arena.
The fixture had been switched to Lemsford the previous week after Hitchin's ground was unavailable.
The weather contributed to Arena's first goal as Saints goalkeeper Chris Caruana misjudged the flight of the ball.
Hitchin doubled their lead from the penalty spot and when young Caruana miskicked the ball straight to a Hitchin attacker the Saints found themselves 3-0 down.

Darren Shea reduced the deficit when he headed home from Jual Ali's cross but Arena restored their three goal cushion with a simple tap-in.
A high ball into the Arena box was mishandled by their 'keeper giving Ashley Gunn an easy debut goal but Saints were left to rue their early mistakes. Next weekend sees St Peter's entertain local rivals Harpenden Rovers. Kick off at Lemsford is 3pm.
