Sam Merson’s late winner against Gosport Borough on Saturday sparked wild scenes at Clarence Park – as our picture gallery shows.
Merson’s brace, his second double in consecutive games, gave Saints a 2-1 victory with the winner coming deep into injury time.
It keeps City in sixth position in the Vanarama National League South, one place outside of the play-offs, but only three points behind Chelmsford City in second place.
