COLNEY Heath defeated Hoddesdon Town on Friday to book their place in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Carlsberg Vase.
The Magpies secured progress with a 1-0 win and a clean sheet that will please joint bosses Scott Lacey and Wesley Awad.

In the Second Round the Magpies will make the trip to Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division rivals St Margaretsbury on Saturday, September 20. Kick off 3pm.
The victor will secure a home tie with Romford in the First Round Proper.
On Tuesday, Colney Heath go away to Division One side Buckingham Athletic in the First Round of the Challenge Trophy with a 7.45pm kick off.
