Colney Heath’s remarkable unbeaten run in 2014 continued on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Hertford Town.

The Magpies have not been beaten in their 15 games since the turn of the New Year, picking up 35 points to cement their position in the top four of the SSML Premier Division.

On Saturday Hertford put the record under threat as Smith netted a 39th minute opener but, as they have done all 2014, Colney Heath showed their class to net three second-half goals and win the game.

Josh Humbert, Brett O’Connor and Levi Gunn scored the goals.

Colney Heath will look to extend the streak when they welcome Cockfosters to The Recreation Ground tonight (Monday). Kick-off 7.45pm.
