Colney Heath lost 3-0 to AFC Dunstable in the SSML Premier Division on Saturday.
Wayne Mills fired second-placed Dunstable into a half-time lead. Dave Parkinson almost restored parity after the break but for a last-ditch challenge from James Bishop.
Former Magpie Josh Humbert doubled the lead on the hour mark before Leon Cashman found the net with 15 minutes left.
Parkinson came close to scoring his 10th of the season in the dying minutes but his shot rattled the bar.
Heath travel to Hoddesdon Town on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
