THE Under 15s were unfortunate not to win in the Final of the Spring Shield Cup against Harvesters South. After trailing 1-0 at half time Colts fought back, resulting in a superb goal by Cole Beels but Harvesters soon hit back and Colts were unable to equalise and conceded 2-1. The whole team were praised for their hard work and fantastic team performance.
Despite missing several players, a fantastic team performance saw Colts Under 13s defeat second in the league Edmonton Rangers 4-1. Goals from Robert Knibbs, Chace Gribble (two) and Tom Church sealed the emphatic win. Man of the Match was full back Yannick Saminaden.
Lee Teixeira scored twice and Karl Martins netted direct from a corner kick and later scored a fine lob from long range as the Under 10s beat Oakhill Tigers 4-0. The whole team deservedly won Man of the Match for a superb team performance and an impressive season.
The Under 7s tasted a sweet victory when they won the Borehamwood 6-a-side Challenge Tournament. The boys showed great character to win their group and in the semi-final beat Enfield Town 3-1. In the final Colts take on local rivals Abbots Langley. After extra time the score was deadlocked at 2-2, but the boys held their nerve and Jaidan Abraham scored the winning penalty.
