ST ALBANS synchronised swimmer Olivia Federici was part of the GB Team that finished sixth at the London 2012 Games with a points tally of 175.440.
In what was said to be one of the GB team’s best ever displays, they this afternoon performed their free routine to a Peter Pan theme scoring 88.140 points to add to their technical routine score of 87.3 yesterday (Thursday) to give them their overall total of 175.440.
Russia took gold, China silver and Spain bronze, with Federici, a former St Albans Girls’ School pupil, along with team-mates Yvette Baker, Katie Clark, Katie Dawkins, Jennifer Knobbs, Vicki Lucass, Asha Randall, Jenna Randall and Katie Skelton sixth.
It was the second time Federici, whose maiden name is Allison, had competed in the Games having finished ninth in Wednesday’s duets final with partner Jenna Randall.
It is Federici second consecutive Games, having finished 14th in Beijing four years ago.
