LONDON OLYMPICS: ST ALBANS Centurions Rugby League Club have announced that their head physiotherapist, Len McMain has been asked to perform physiotherapy duties at the London Olympics and Paralympic games this summer.

Len, from St Albans, who runs his own sports and injury clinic in Dunstable, has been the St Albans rugby league team’s head of physiotherapy for the last four seasons. At first he will be on duty covering the cycling events at the velodrome during the Olympics, then he will be moving on to cover the wheelchair rugby and basketball events of the Paralympics.

Len said: “It is a great honour to be asked to help out at such a prestigious event. Although this will clash with the rugby club’s summer season, they have been great about it as one of the other club physios can travel with the team, letting me be part of this once in a lifetime event.”
