THREE late goals stopped Harpenden Town coming home with a major scalp at New Bradwell St Peter.
Town were leading until the 71st minute when Martin Wells got New Bradwell on level terms and that was the spur the home side needed adding two late goals to send Town home empty handed.
Harpenden, who'd suffered only one defeat in their last 11 games leading up to this one, went close early on with an effort that narrowly went wide. They went one better minutes later though when Mark Hitchcock latched onto a long ball and fired home in the 32nd minute.
Town lead until Wells netted and although New Bradwell had John Mullholland shown a second yellow card they took the lead in the 76th minute when Gary Flynn turned the ball home.
A third goal from Lea Coulter two minutes from time made the scoreline harsh on battling Town who'll look to bounce back when they entertain Hadley on Saturday.
