Trailing 2-1 after the first leg, Montserrat were leading 2-1 in the second and on the cusp of forcing extra-time until an 87th minute equaliser from Charlton Vicento ended their hopes of reaching the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Dutch legend Kluivert, who scored 40 goals in 79 caps, will take his side to Cuba in the next round.

Comley, who qualified for the Caribbean nation through his father, was one of Montserrat’s key contributors over the two legs, playing every minute and setting up two goals.
