James Kaloczi, the match-winner at Burnham, has been named as January’s player of the month.
The award, sponsored by Harpenden Construction Limited, will be presented to Kaloczi, prior to the game against Bideford by Mick O’Shea, owner of the Courtyard Café in Hatfield Road, who is the January 2014 sponsor.
The 18-year-old made three starts in January – against Hemel Hempstead, Burnham and Chippenham – with his most significant contribution coming in the last game of the month.
Drawing 2-2 on the road against Burnham, Kaloczi produced a moment of magic to find the net from 30 yards to seal an come-from-behind win for City, which moved them up to fourth in the league table.
