RADLETT had some useful practice at the weekend with two victories against Farnham Royal on Saturday and a win at home to a Wanstead XI on Sunday.

Tom Jenkins led the Firsts from the front on Saturday with 61 not out, with former England Under 19 leg spinner Atul Sachdeva (5-15) having earlier reduced the opposition to 133 all out. Nick Fielden took Radlett II to Farnham Royal where three wickets and 46 runs for Robbie Crocker together with a maiden half century for Richard Cameron on his debut saw Radlett home comfortably.

Radlett Sunday II beat Wanstead by six wickets. Middlesex rising star Kabir Toor fired 61 not out and Nick Fielden contributed 34 not out. Toor also picked up 3-18 off six overs in a fine all-round display and Atul Sachdeva picked up 3-33.
