A JACK Cartwright hat-trick earned Harpenden Town their second win of the season.
Simon Andrews’ side travelled to Langford and the game did not start well for Town as they found themselves 2-0 down before staging a remarkable comeback to win the game 4-2.
Town now have seven points on the board thanks to an opening day win against Winslow United, a 2-2 draw with Welwyn Garden City and today’s victory.
Harpenden are back in action on Tuesday (September 3) Buckingham Athletic. It is the second time the two teams have faced in three weeks. Buckingham won the last encounter 5-2.
