Darren Locke suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone in Tuesday night’s 3-2 win at Arlesey Town.
Locke opened the scoring but he didn’t make the half-time after going down after winning a header in the 38th minute. City’s physio Zac Chandler gave him treatment on the pitch but he was substitued for Ben Martin.
After the game, Gray confirmed that Locke went to hospital to assess the injury.
Chandler added that a cheekbone fracture usually takes four to five weeks to heal but he was unable to put a time frame on Locke’s return until the nature of the injury was confirmed.
