Harpenden put on a show on Saturday in their 6-0 win over Arlesey Town Reserves.
New signing Jimmy Warner scored within four minutes of kick-off and top goalscorer scored two more before the break, taking his season’s tally to 20 in 26 games.
Mark Hitchcock had perhaps the best day for Town, though, scoring with his first touch after coming off the bench. He then scored goals number five and six for Harpenden as he completed his hat-trick and wrapped up a 6-0 win.
Debutant Jimmy Hartley, formerly of Stevenage and London Colney, who signed last week, was also impressive.
