Jimmy Hill ensured London Colney capped off a remarkable season with a victory when he scored the only goal in Tuesday’s win over Stotfold.
Hill converted a free-kick from Shaun Murphy as the Blueboys extended their unbeaten run to 25 games in the SSML Premier Division. The run included 21 wins and 20 clean sheets.
Colney finished the season in second place, behind champions Kings Langley.
If the club can keep the team intact, and convince Ryan Thompson to lead them for another year, it bodes extremely well for the Blueboys’ 2015/16 campaign.
