TOP ranked Herts Men's and Ladies teams will compete at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne, in the Championship Division (1) of the Summer County Cup national event 2008.
Harpenden duo David Corrie and Ed Corrie are named in the strong Herts squad for the event which takes place from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 27.
Herts Men were Champions in 2005 and runners up in 2006 and 2007 while the Ladies are looking to make their mark in the annual pinnacle of county tennis after surviving in the top division last summer.
Six men's and six ladies' teams will play doubles against each other across five days. On the Friday afternoon, the top men's and top ladies' teams will be crowned champions and the bottom two teams in each will be relegated. Each day consists of nine doubles matches (rubbers).
