Phoenix put in one of their best shows of the season, defeating East Herts 8-1 in the Herts Sunday Cup.

Sam Bozier and Dan Jellyey scored two each and Dan Burrows, Stefan Day, Danny Norris and George Hackett added singles.

Joel Norris scored his second hat-trick of the season in Vision’s 5-2 away win at Wests. The other goals came from Yasin Boodhoo and man of the match Winston Taylor.

Herts Junior Cup: Bradmore Rovers won by the odd goal in 11 against Adeyfield. Stewart Gilroy led the way with a hat-trick followed by singles from Nathan Bowden, Joe Brunt and Jordan Frowd.

Challenge Cup: Goals from Adam Fowler and Greg Deacon saw PSV progress to the next round following a 2-1 win against Bull & Jacks. James Owen scored for Jacks.

Division One: Six Bells put five unanswered goals past Chequers Inn. The goals were scored by Jack Massey (two), Rob Marven, Luke Ossorio and Paul Clarke.

Division Two: Brookmans Park Reserves had a comfortable 8-2 win against Vision Reserves thanks to goals came from Danny Clifton (two), Joe Cullum (two), Ryan Painter (two), Liam Doyle and Grant Noble.

Pennine Spartans defeated Cannon 10-1. Jamie France took his season’s tally to 16 with a hat-trick and the other goals came from Adam Durrant (two), Jamie Smith (two), James Durrant and two own goals. Daryl Loring replied for Cannon.

Division Three: Radlett Village recorded one of their best wins of the season, defeating Harpenden Colts OB 6-0. Both Dene Lewis and James Welch scored two each with singles from Tom Blake and Alex English.

Division Four: Ben Conrad scored five in Wheathampstead Crown’s 8-2 win over Marshalswick Rovers, who had Steve Bellard (two) on target. Crown’s other goals came from Scott Rolls, Karl McGroary and Ryan Laffoley.

Camp KBK ended St Albans Royals’ unbeaten run with a 5-2 win. Five players were on the Camp score-sheet: Jack Crawley, Dean Jones, Charlie Lumsdon, Michael Sinnott and Ben Tester.

Division Five: A first goal of the season by James Shears plus a Michael Blanchard single earned White Horse a 2-2 draw against The Ridge.

Rudi Stevens scored all four goals for Stonewood Reserves in a 4-2 win against Athletico Quat;.
