Church End suffered penalty shootout heartbreak in the final of the Herts Junior Cup against Echoes.
Phil Jackman and Carl Edwards’ 93rd minute header took the game to extra-time and nothing could separate the teams after two hours of football, so the game went to spot-kicks. Echoes held their nerve to win 5-3.
INTERMEDIATE CUP: Garston booked their place in the final after Shereef Ismal, Joshua Stachini, Luke Wantnaby and Jordan Manfre fired them to a 4-2 win over Phoenix Reserves, who had Ali Hill on target.
PREMIER DIVISION: Skew Bridge’s game against Vision was a non-event and ended in a goalless draw.
DIVISION ONE: Four first-half goals were too much for London Road to overcome in a 6-3 loss to Skew Bridge Reserves.

James Elliot and Will Bates netted two apiece in the first period as Skew took control of the game. Road pulled one back before Chris Gregory restored the four-goal lead. Two quick-fire goals set up a possible comeback, which was extinguished by Bates’ third.
Goals by Jack McNamara and Jacob Noonan gave Precision a 2-1 win against Bull & Jacks whose reply came via an own goal.
